Ministry Description
The Voice of Prophecy ministry is one of the oldest continuous religious radio broadcasts. Starting on a single radio station (KNX-Los Angeles) in 1929, VOP has grown to be a worldwide ministry. It has lost count of the organizations and broadcast ministries it has spawned in dozens of languages over the last seven decades. Programs are presently heard either on weekends (30-minute show) or daily (15-minute show) on 450 stations in North America, and on the Internet as audio-on-demand. A weekly telecast airs on 3ABN, SafeTV, Loma Linda Broadcasting Network, Blue Mountain TV and other affiliate networks.
The ministry also champions the largest and oldest free Bible school of its kind in the world. It utilizes Bible lessons by postal correspondence and Internet to proclaim the good news that Christ will soon return. The Bible School was established in 1942. Locally operated DISCOVER Bible Schools are located at nearly 2,600 churches across North America.
