Ministry Description
The Adventurer Program is available to children that are not quite old enough to be Pathfinders, but who want to be involved in fun activities and progressive class work.
It is open to all children in first through fourth grades and serves as a great feeder for Pathfinders. Due to ages of Adventurer participants, emphasis is placed on parents being involved, along with staff.
Key Accomplishments:
- Directed resource taskforces to develop 73 church resources for senior youth, pathfinder, adventurer and camp ministries.
- Planned and facilitated 5 Youth Ministries Leadership Conventions, training over 6000 registered leaders.
- Created information network called YPAC that connects all youth ministries leaders for ministry support via website, email, internet blogging, e-newsletters, and internet discussion forums.
- Supported hundreds of local churches, conferences and unions youth events and initiatives as leadership facilitator, consultant, mentor and guest speaker.
